“Have you ever been assaulted for being Christian?”

The Quiner’s Diner reader posing this question suggests that Christian persecution is nothing compared to transgender persecution.

She is transgendered and has experience physical persecution.

As a Christian, I loathe persecution of all types, whether it is violent in nature, such as what she experienced by being shoved in front of a car; or whether it is a gay man thrown off the roof of a parking garage by Muslims; or whether it is non-violent, such as the owner of a bakery who loses her business because her religion views marriage as being between one man and one woman.

The suggestion, though, that Christian persecution is “nothing” displays an amazing ignorance on the international scope of persecution of those who proclaim Jesus as their Lord.
